My stay at Valle Paraizo in Camacha was absolutely delightful. The cozy cottage with its beautiful garden provided a perfect retreat. I loved being able to hike directly from the cottage, with two Levada walks just a short distance away. The owner was incredibly helpful and easy to communicate with. I even had the pleasure of enjoying freshly baked bread upon request. Despite a couple of minor drawbacks, such as the lack of wifi inside the cottage and higher air humidity, the overall experience was fantastic. The privacy and country-style living in the midst of lush flora truly added to the charm. If you're looking for a peaceful and picturesque getaway, I highly recommend Valle Paraizo.

The apartments are located in a tranquil, picturesque setting surrounded by beautiful greenery and a stunning garden. The cleanliness of the rooms was impeccable, and the warm welcome we received with a freshly baked loaf of bread was delightful. Despite the peaceful location, there is convenient access to a nearby shopping mall and a bus station with excellent connections to Funchal. This is definitely the top choice for a return visit to Madeira.

We even had the delightful surprise of peacocks walking past our door during breakfast. The location was convenient, with easy access to woodland walks and a nearby bus stop for trips to Funchal. Cons: Can't fault anything about it 😊.
